Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a hands-on field Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to support two operations. This field-focused role builds strong relationships with employees and supervisors while driving safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities include leading day-to-day EHS and MSHA compliance, conducting inspections, investigating incidents, maintaining programs and training records, and supporting regulatory inspections. Travel between sites will be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of EHS experience in industrial settings.
  • Working knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting inspections, recognizing hazards, investigating incidents, and managing corrective actions.
  • Strong communication with leadership and hourly employees.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.

  • Maintain safety programs, training records, compliance calendars, and required documentation.
  • Support MSHA inspections, training, task training, and hazard awareness.
  • Manage environmental compliance related to air, water, stormwater, wastewater, waste, and chemical management.
  • Prepare and maintain required reports, permits, sampling records, manifests, and agency documentation.
  • Lead or support safety committees, toolbox talks, employee training, and emergency preparedness.
  • Partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership to build practical and proactive EHS programs.
  • Serve as a key point of contact during regulatory inspections and follow up on findings and corrective actions.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of EHS experience in chemical, mining, industrial minerals, manufacturing, heavy industry, construction materials, utilities, or a similar industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of MSHA, OSHA, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting inspections, recognizing hazards, investigating incidents, and managing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with environmental programs involving stormwater, air, water, wastewater, waste, and chemical management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with leadership, supervisors, and hourly employees.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
