Indeed is seeking a Software Engineer VI to serve as a Technical Fellow for the Interop space, owning architectural direction across integration domains and partnering with senior engineers, product leads, and executives. You will drive strategy, scale multi-party integrations, and guide 40–50 engineers toward reliable, simple and scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Must have: strong background in service-oriented architectures and distributed systems.
Must have: experience with APIs and data platforms (SQL/NoSQL).
Experience applying AI/ML capabilities to accelerate architecture and development velocity.
Demonstrated ownership as a principal technical and product contributor.
Excellent written and verbal communication across engineering, product, and exec audiences.

Responsibilities

Own architectural assessment and simplification across multiple domains.
Guide architectural decisions with senior engineers, tech leaders, and business partners.
Document and communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs effectively.
Translate architectural needs and user feedback into platform/process improvements.
Contribute code and design improvements to internal systems with quality bar.
Influence architectural standards across the org through collaboration.
