Indeed, the world’s leading job site, seeks a Software Engineer VI to serve as a Technical Fellow for the Interop space, guiding architectural strategy and ensuring scalable B2B integrations across multiple partner platforms.

You will lead architecture across Interop’s domains, work with senior engineers and executives, and help the 40-50 person team improve reliability and maintainability with clear design standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with extensive experience; or higher degrees with more experience.
• Experience designing and evolving service-oriented architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and data platforms (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience applying AI/ML capabilities to accelerate architecture, development velocity, and integration quality at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural assessment and simplification efforts across multiple teams or domains.
• Partner with senior engineers and business partners to guide architectural decisions and system evolution.
• Document and communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs effectively.
