Job summary

OBE is seeking a Technical Estimator and Project Manager II (Spec, Shower Hardware) to prepare quotations and convert them to orders with prompt customer engagement. The role requires understanding CRL quote programs and product specifications to ensure competitive, technically sound quotes.

You will read bid requests, keep Product Group knowledge current, and collaborate with internal teams to support project timelines. This full-time position offers growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and follow up on inquiries and tasks.
• Knowledge of general pricing and margins; strong negotiation skills.
• General understanding of glass systems and product groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate quotations to customers for their Product Group.
• Meet or exceed SLA for quote turnaround.
• Interpret bid requests from specifications/drawings to ensure technically compatible quotes.
• Maintain knowledge of Product Group products to offer to customers.
• Document customer interactions in ERP consistently.
• Create urgency to release quotes to order to meet project timelines.
• Update notes on open quotes/orders/drawings daily.
