Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop (OBE) is seeking a Technical Estimator and Project Manager II (Spec, Shower Hardware) to quote customers and convert quotes to orders, aligning with Sales and Business Development.

In this role you will read specifications and bid requests, maintain product knowledge, and use ERP and CRL configurators to deliver accurate, timely quotes while providing excellent customer service and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associates preferred.
• Ability to work fast and manage inquiries and follow-ups.
• Knowledge of pricing, margins, and negotiation.
• Understanding of glass systems.
• Proficient use of ERP and CRL configurators.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate quotations for product groups.
• Meet or exceed SLA for quote turnaround.
• Read bid requests to ensure quotes are technically compatible and competitive.
• Maintain broad knowledge of Product Group products to offer customers.
• Answer calls and resolve questions with relevant information.
• Document customer interactions in ERP.
• Create urgency to release quotes to order.
• Participate in educational opportunities to enhance knowledge.
• Update notes on open quotes/orders daily.
• Provide customer feedback to Team Leader.
• Collaborate with internal teams on customer needs and satisfaction.
