ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas is seeking an Estimator for our Mesquite, Texas facility to review drawings, prepare estimates, and coordinate with customers on pricing for doors, frames, hardware, and shipping. The role requires at least 1 year estimating experience in hollow metal openings, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year estimating experience, preferably in hollow metal door openings.
• Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, or engineering drawings is desired.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with ability to balance multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between us and customers; review drawings and prepare estimates.
• Verify drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, and hardware coordination.
• Prepare quotes considering product capabilities and pricing templates; input into quoting system.
• Communicate project status and any discrepancies or delays to customers.
• Participate in maintaining a safe working environment and compliance with policies.
