Qualifications

• PE license required (multi-state licensure preferred).
• 12–20+ years of multidisciplinary engineering experience.
• 5+ years in departmental leadership or engineering director roles.
• Strong understanding across mechanical, electrical, process, aerospace, and/or wastewater disciplines.
• Proven experience leading and scaling engineering departments or technical teams.
• Demonstrated success in client-facing technical roles—communicating complex concepts to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for multidisciplinary engineering teams, including organizational development and staffing strategy.
• Oversee delivery of engineering projects across multiple disciplines, ensuring quality and technical rigor.
• Serve as the senior technical authority in client meetings and major project decisions.
• Establish and implement engineering standards, best practices, and quality control processes.
• Partner with PM, BD, and executives to shape proposals, scopes, and execution strategies.
• Mentor engineering managers and senior technical leads for long-term growth.
• Support complex troubleshooting, risk evaluation, and direction at milestones—delegating hands-on design work.
• Represent the company at technical conferences and industry events.
