Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a highly experienced Technical Engineer to support the integration and execution of complex scientific, software development, and cloud engineering efforts. The role coordinates across scientists, software developers, and cloud engineers to transform concepts into production‑ready code and containers within an AWS enterprise computing environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 13 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
• Active TS-SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Experience coordinating technical projects across multiple disciplines or development teams.
• Experience with AWS or enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities across scientific, software development, and cloud engineering teams to advance research and experimental capabilities.
• Translate research concepts and algorithms into software requirements and deployable capabilities.
• Facilitate progression of scientific algorithms from concept to code, containers, and deployment within AWS.
• Plan, track, and report progress on complex technical projects with multiple dependencies.
• Develop and maintain technical plans, test plans, schedules, documentation, and performance metrics.
• Coordinate testing and evaluation activities and assess progress and performance.
• Identify dependencies, risks, gaps, and issues and facilitate resolution across disciplines.
• Support transition of research efforts into operational environments.
