Job summary

Core4ce is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to design, optimize, and deploy geospatial software solutions. The role emphasizes full‑stack development, MATLAB/Python optimization, and deep ESRI/ArcGIS knowledge for GIS applications within AWS.

You will work with scientists and cloud engineers to transform research into scalable, deployable software in a flexible, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

Requires master’s degree or equivalent with 13–15 years of relevant experience.
Active TS-SCI with CI Poly eligibility.
Strong full‑stack development experience across databases, APIs, and web apps.
Geospatial software expertise with ESRI/ArcGIS technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop features and infrastructure across database, API, and web tiers.
Optimize MATLAB/Python code for performance while preserving scientific validity.
Develop and deploy geospatial apps using PostgreSQL/PostGIS, OpenLayers, QGIS, GeoServer.
Leverage ESRI data structures and ArcGIS Pro with C# bindings for data integration.
Collaborate with scientists, GIS specialists, and cloud engineers to deploy research to production.
Build and deploy containerized apps with Docker and AWS.
Follow Agile development, testing, and documentation processes.
Ensure requirements are traceable and delivered as per plans.
