DC Army National Guard seeks a Technical Engineer to help plan and repair airstrips, docks, barracks, roads and other projects. You will learn to develop construction plans, maps, and surveys while supporting civil and military infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED.
• Must be between ages 17 and 35.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Responsibilities

• Draw topographic maps and charts using CAD systems.
• Conduct geodetic and construction surveys with survey instruments.
• Provide technical support for vertical and horizontal construction projects.
