Job summary

OLH Inc. seeks an experienced Technical Editor to support the development, review, and maintenance of Safety Basis documentation for nuclear and high-hazard facilities.

The successful candidate will edit complex technical content and collaborate with engineers, safety analysts, and SMEs to ensure clarity and regulatory compliance. The role focuses on editing, formatting, and quality-checking DSAs, TSRs, hazard analyses, and related documents, ensuring alignment with DOE orders and site standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in English, journalism, technical communication, or a physical/social science.
• 6–8 years of experience editing technical or regulatory documentation.
• Strong grammar, technical style, and document structure.
• Experience with SMEs in highly regulated environments; DOE familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit, format, and quality-check Safety Basis documents (DSAs, TSRs, analyses).
• Ensure documents comply with DOE orders, site requirements and standards; enforce style guides.
• Coordinate with authors, engineers, and nuclear safety analysts to resolve comments.
• Track revisions and maintain version control; prepare documents for approvals and submittals.
