Job summary

TAIT in Burbank, CA seeks a Technical Director II to lead the design and delivery of technical systems across projects, coordinating with vendors, engineers, and clients to realize the creative vision.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, 4+ years of experience delivering multiple projects, and proficiency in production disciplines such as audio, lighting, video, and CAD. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years experience delivering multiple projects.
• Experience leading technical project teams.
• Working knowledge of CAD programs.

Responsibilities

• Domain knowledge across technical aspects (audio, video, lighting, control, rigging, mechanical, scenic).
• Deliver technical solutions that meet client vision and schedule.
• Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed in design and installation.
• Coordinate with partners to iterate designs and maintain processes.
• Provide progress updates to clients and internal teams.
