Job summary

Omnicell seeks a Technical Director, Global Cloud Operations, to unify four pillars: SRE, SRO, Platform Engineering and Cloud Security. You will lead cross-pillar architecture decisions, set unified standards, and partner with Directors to execute a coherent strategic technical agenda.

You will mentor senior leaders, translate VP strategy into actionable technical directions, and ensure rapid, well-governed decision-making across cloud platforms. This is a remote/hybrid US role with travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in infrastructure, platform, reliability, or security engineering with senior leadership experience.
• Demonstrated depth across at least two pillars (SRE, operations, platform engineering, security).
• Deep multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern observability practices.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and cloud security fundamentals.
• Experience operating in regulated industries with compliance obligations (HIPAA, SOC 2, or FedRAMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-pillar technical decisions to ensure four pillars operate as a single coherent org.
• Partner with Directors on architecture roadmaps and major trade-offs across pillars.
• Translate cross-pillar technical detail into executive-level input for decisions and actions.
• Mentor senior leaders across pillars and promote cross-pillar awareness.
