Job summary
Ralph Lauren is seeking a Technical Designer to create and maintain tech packs in PLM, ensuring accurate measurements, sketches, and data for production-ready garments. You will collaborate with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, and sourcing teams to execute designs on time with quality and fit in mind.
Responsibilities include receiving complete hand-offs, attending reviews, and owning tech pack integrity from creation to production approval while supporting fit sessions and calendar
Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Apparel Manufacturing, Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and apparel manufacturing processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain tech packs in PLM with measurements, construction details, sketches and imagery.
- Own tech pack reviews to ensure complete and accurate information.
- Attend hand-off meetings, reviews, and milestone meetings as needed.
- Partner with Design, Product Management, Pattern Making, and suppliers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support fit sessions, sample reviews, and product evaluations to ensure design intent and quality.
- Monitor workload and calendar deliverables to meet deadlines.
