Job summary

SET Active, a Beverly Hills-based women’s athleisure brand, seeks a Technical Designer to drive garment development from concept to production. You will ensure fit, grading, tech packs, and technical specs meet our standards while collaborating with design, product dev, and production teams.

Essential experience includes garment construction, fittings, grading, and strong vendor communication. Proficiency with PLM, Illustrator, and Excel is expected to support accurate documentation and timely

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of technical design experience in apparel, ideally within activewear or lifestyle.
• Experience with garment construction, fit, measurements, and grading.
• Experience participating in fittings and providing technical fit comments.
• Experience creating and maintaining tech packs, BOMs, measurement charts, and specifications.
• Experience reviewing samples and identifying fit, construction, and measurement issues.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned styles from development through final fit approval.
• Participate in fittings and provide actionable feedback on fit, construction, and measurements.
• Communicate fit comments and revisions to vendors and internal teams.
• Measure and review samples to ensure they meet specifications and fit standards.
• Identify fit, construction, and measurement issues and resolve them with the team and vendors.
• Support grading across size ranges and maintain graded specifications.
• Track fit rounds, sample updates, and approvals for assigned styles.
• Help ensure final production reflects approved fit, measurements, and construction.
• Collaborate with Design and Product Development to translate design intent into production-ready garments.
• Partner with Production to track samples, revisions, and troubleshoot technical issues.
