Job summary

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Technical Design Manager to lead the complete technical development of patterns and specifications, ensuring on-time delivery to go-to-market milestones and supply chain timelines. You will supervise a team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to finalize pattern construction and ensure quality across materials and specs.

The role requires extensive apparel manufacturing knowledge, leadership experience, and proficiency with Accumark, 3D, Illustrator and SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Experience leading apparel design/production teams.
• Deep knowledge of pattern development and technical specs.
• Proficient in Accumark, 3D, Illustrator and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees the Technical Design team to develop patterns and technical specs within timelines.
• Coordinates with Product Development to pass off to Production Technical Design and vendors.
• Maintains fit library, 3D pattern assets, and construction manuals.
• Develops SOPs for materials management, labeling, and folding guides.
• Trains and develops direct reports; conducts performance reviews.
