Job summary

Kontoor Brands is seeking a Technical Design Manager to lead pattern development and technical specifications from concept to pre-production. You will supervise a design team and collaborate with Product Development, Production, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery within margin targets.

The role requires deep expertise in pattern construction, 3D pattern tools, and materials confirmation, with strong leadership and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of apparel manufacturing experience with pattern/technical development expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Strong leadership, analytical and organizational skills; proficient in key design systems.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees technical design team on pattern and technical spec development.
• Coordinate handoffs to Production Technical Design and Manufacturing for bulk production.
• Maintain fit library, 3D pattern assets, and construction manuals; SOPs for materials.
• Lead process improvements and mentor direct reports toward goals.
