Job summary

Top Echelon LLC is seeking an Intermediate Technical Architectural Designer for our New York City office or Maitland, FL. The role is full-time with a hybrid schedule and comprehensive benefits.

The candidate will perform site surveys, code reviews, and full construction documentation, coordinating with clients, landlords and consultants, and reviewing bid documents. A 5-8 year track record in corporate/workplace interiors is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; MA a plus.
• Minimum 5-8 years in corporate/commercial interiors.
• Strong knowledge of NYC/IBC codes and NYC zoning.

Responsibilities

• Site survey and documentation.
• General site code review (egress, fixture counts, path of travel).
• Full construction documentation including detailing and specifications.
• Technical coordination with the design team.
• Coordinate revisions, bulletins and addenda and respond to RFIs.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; conduct site inspections.
• Assist in project close-out documentation.
