Metropolitan Strategies & Solutions (MSS) seeks an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead and coordinate technical execution across software, data, and platform teams in the District of Columbia. You will bridge engineering and leadership, ensuring complex initiatives deliver on schedule and align with client objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering, technical project management, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated success coordinating complex technical initiatives across multiple teams.
• Strong working knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, cloud platforms, data integration, SDLC, CI/CD, and testing methodologies.
• Ability to review and interpret technical designs, architecture diagrams, and integration requirements.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to engage with technical and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical activities across software, data, infrastructure, and platform teams.
• Maintain visibility into technical workstreams, interfaces, dependencies, and milestones.
• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to align deliverables and timelines.
• Partner with engineering leads, architects, and project managers to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Establish accountability for technical decisions, action items, and delivery milestones.
• Oversee integration testing, UAT readiness, production deployments, and handoffs.
• Support release planning and continuous improvement of delivery processes.
