About the Role

We are seeking a Hands-on Technical Delivery Manager / Software Development Manager to take end-to-end ownership of software initiatives, driving projects directly from initial business concepts to fully functional, high-value production solutions.

This is not an administrative or purely process-oriented management role. We are looking for a builder-manager who combines deep engineering depth with proactive delivery ownership and multi-stakeholder leadership. The ideal candidate has built a strong technical foundation as a Software Architect, Solution Architect, or Principal Engineer, and has spent the last ~3 years actively leading engineering teams and owning business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in technical architecture and design discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and challenge engineering assumptions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical, production, performance, and scalability issues directly with developers to identify root causes.
• Step directly into hands-on technical work, prototyping, or code reviews whenever critical situations require direct involvement.
• Serve as the central communication link aligning developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Cloud/Infrastructure teams, QA, and business leadership.
• Maintain direct accountability for project outcomes and value creation, rather than simply enforcing process execution or tracking tickets.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and OOP.
• Proven experience taking a project from an initial business concept all the way to a working, value-generating solution.
• Deep foundational background in software engineering, system architecture, database/API design, and cloud applications.
• Recent (~3 years) experience leading engineering teams, coordinating project delivery, and taking full ownership of team outcomes.
• Strong career progression such as Software Engineer / Architect / Principal Engineer transitioning into a hands-on technical leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
