Akkodis is seeking a Technical Customer Engagement Manager for a Contract job with a client in Richmond/Remote. Ideally, looking for applicants with a solid background in the financial services industry.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $67/hour on W2 (negotiable); the rate may vary based on experience, education, location, etc.

Location: Richmond, VA or 100% remote (central or eastern time zones)

Position: Technical Customer Engagement Manager

Duration: approximately 6 months

Interview process: 2 ½ hour interviews, second with the Product Owner

Project: Demoing a new product called “Expense Management” to small business clients

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 4-6+ years in customer success, technical account management, onboarding, or similar roles
  • Strong technical acumen with software implementation experience
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Proven problem-solving skills and proactive customer support approach
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects
  • Customer-focused mindset and passion for service

Additional notes:

  • Demoing complex technical products
  • Helping onboard customers
  • Not responsible for closing sales
  • Running 2-5 client calls/day
  • Roles include engagement management, customer success, product management
  • Light maintenance tasks
