Simmers Crane Design & Services, part of Flatiron Crane, seeks a Service Sales Representative to provide technical sales support for overhead crane and industrial lifting systems.

You will evaluate customer opportunities, develop engineered solutions, and prepare competitive proposals to help close orders. Collaboration with managers, reps, owners, and consulting engineers is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate new project inquiries to identify technical risk and provide solutions.
• Develop technical solutions to position the company to close new project orders.
• Work with Managers, Reps, Owners, and Consulting Engineers to develop proposals and working solutions.
• Support sales bid opportunities.
• Perform technical reviews of RFQ packages.
• Develop technical packages (unit drawings, equipment selections, data sheets, component catalogs) that support the sales strategy.
• Obtain equipment quotes from vendors.
• Perform risk assessment of the project and prepare recommended solutions to discuss with the Sales team.
• Assist Project Teams during handoff of new projects.

Connaissances

Industrial Equipment sales experience

Excellent communication skills

Ability to grasp & relate to technical

Experience in writing technical probes

Experience in cost estimating

Sales experience with lifting systems

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
