Job summary

OneEnergy is seeking an Accounting Manager, Corporate Accounting to prepare consolidated financial statements and lead technical accounting analyses. You will design scalable intercompany processes, support internal controls, and coordinate audits and tax matters as a key partner to cross-functional teams.

This role emphasizes strong judgment, organization, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Active CPA.
• 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience across public accounting and industry, including financial reporting and technical accounting responsibility.
• Experience preparing complete financial statements and footnotes for multi-entity organizations.
• Renewable energy, project development, construction, or other project-based experience preferred.
• Big 4 or other national public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, including all primary statements and footnote disclosures.
• Own corporate close activities, including consolidations, eliminations, equity, and analysis of significant or unusual transactions.
• Prepare supporting schedules, account reconciliations, and flux analyses that explain results and support the financial statements.
• Maintain the corporate reporting calendar and prepare clear analyses and reporting packages for stakeholders.
• Research and prepare technical accounting memos for complex matters, including leases, consolidation, revenue, and equity transactions.
• Serve as a technical partner to operational teams, reviewing contracts and translating conclusions into accounting requirements.
• Monitor accounting guidance and support implementation of new policies.
• Manage coordination of the annual financial statement audit with external auditors.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on federal, state, local, and partnership tax matters.
