Job summary

Datadog is seeking an experienced Content Optimization Specialist to grow visibility across traditional and AI-assisted search platforms. You will optimize technical content for search engines, answer engines, and AI/LLM experiences, working within the Community organization to uncover opportunities as search behavior evolves.

In a hybrid work model, you will collaborate across Community, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure content aligns with SEO/AEO/GEO best practices and supports

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, focusing on on-page optimization.
• Experience creating high-volume technically accurate content for engineering/developer audiences.
• Proficiency with SEO/AEO tools (e.g., Profound, Conductor, Semrush, Ahrefs, GSC).

Responsibilities

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, well-structured content that aligns with audience-specific search intent.
• Manage on-page content optimization, including metadata, structure, and internal linking.
• Analyze how Datadog content surfaces across AI-assisted search and guide optimization.
• Collaborate with Community, Marketing, and Product Management to align with SEO/AEO/GEO best practices.
• Conduct keyword research and content gap analysis to inform production and optimization.
• Create content briefs and outlines turning research into clear development requirements.
• Monitor results of optimization efforts across rankings, citations, AI visibility, traffic and engagement.
