Job summary

PTR Global is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to deliver engaging, hands-on learning across software engineering, DevOps, agile practices, cloud, CI/CD, testing, and AI-assisted development.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 6+ years in software/DevOps, plus 5+ years of training delivery and hands-on experience with TDD, CI/CD, and Agile methods. Strong communication and facilitation skills are essential.

Technical Trainer – Software Engineering, DevOps & AI

We are seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to deliver engaging, hands‑on learning experiences across software engineering, Agile, DevOps, cloud, CI/CD, testing, and AI-assisted development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Six or more years of experience working in software engineering, DevOps, or an Agile environment.
• Five or more years of experience creating and delivering technical training.
• Hands‑on experience with software engineering, TDD, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Extreme Programming.
• Experience using generative AI and AI coding assistants in software development or DevOps workflows.
• Practical experience building or supporting AI agents and tool‑enabled LLM workflows.
• Understanding of responsible AI, secure data handling, AI‑generated code risks, agent orchestration, tool calling, structured outputs, context management, and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Experience testing non‑deterministic systems and diagnosing agent failures.
• Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and presentation skills.
