Job summary

CorSource Technology Group in Portland, OR seeks a Contract Technical Business Analyst 2 to support the IT PMO, handling requirements, elicitation, and stakeholder collaboration across corporate, power, and transmission projects.

You will translate business needs into detailed requirements, draft business cases, run sessions, review regulations, and ensure traceability from goals to functional specs, working with internal clients, SMEs, vendors, and IT teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology/systems preferred.
7 years of experience required with a bachelor’s degree.
11 years of experience required without a degree.
Experience in technical business analysis and IT with progressively more technical responsibilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

Provide business analysis support and elicit documents to support IT systems implementations.
Collaborate with analysts and manager to plan business analysis work.
Define analysis objectives and deliverables for projects.
Plan requirements gathering and elicitation strategies with stakeholders.
Identify resources needed to meet project schedules.
Conduct preliminary analyses on IT system proposals.
Translate business needs into product requirements for technical teams.
Draft requirements documentation and test criteria.
Coordinate and facilitate sessions to elicit customer requirements.
Review and validate requirements with stakeholders.
