Job summary

AmericanTCS, now part of Ascensus, seeks a Sr. Technical Business Analyst to capture requirements for the web-based custody platform and translate them into detailed specs for the dev team. You will liaise with clients, partners and internal stakeholders, supporting enhancements from concept to release.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years writing functional specs, and experience with Agile/Scrum, Azure DevOps and SQL/SSMS. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Technology
• 3+ years of experience writing functional specifications for web-based applications
• Experience with Azure DevOps and APIs/web services is preferred
• Ability to write intermediate SQL queries and use SSMS
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Document business and user requirements with acceptance criteria and functional specifications
• Coordinate and participate in customer enhancement sessions, Scrum meetings and sprint planning
• Collaborate with development, product, training and management to improve offerings
• Lead demonstrations, user acceptance testing and product documentation
• Write test plans and perform functional, regression and scalability testing
• Manage a portfolio of complex projects across teams and systems
• Create visual workflow models and document interdependencies
• Identify, document and report product anomalies and research root causes
• Serve as liaison between business and development throughout the software lifecycle
