Who we are looking for:As a talented
technical business analyst, you will collect user stories, manage the product backlog, and write high-quality change requests. Where needed, you will contribute to and maintain detailed specifications for the product's functionality. You will be part of a brilliant, fast-paced, customer- and quality-oriented team!

Responsibilities:- Collect, process, file, and prioritise key product initiatives, user stories, and individual work items.
- Ongoing communication with Software Engineers, QA, and Technical Writers. Answertheir questions, conductreviews, scheduledemos, nudge for updates –anything you needto getthe job done.Your job is to support the rest of the engineering teamto ensure the timeliness, product fit, good scope,and quality of thesolutions we deliver.
- Write high-quality, consistent and detailed specifications and change requests to guide the product development. Document functional and non-functional product requirements.
- This will bean agile and iterativeactivity, not a "write once" kind of job– we'reupdatingour specifications,stories, and expected behaviours continuously in tight communication with multiple stakeholders.For example, this will occur whenlimitations (or a better solution) are identified during feature implementation or when we receivestakeholder feedback.
- Conduct acceptance testing of completed development work. Enter detected defects and follow-up work items into the issue tracker.
Requirements:- A STEM college/university degree.
- Analytical mindset.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Initiative and desire to improve the product you are working on.
- At least twoyears of experience working as a system analyst / technical business analyst.
- Excellent skills in searching and organisingdata from public sources - e.g., researching best practices, competition, or establishing legally determined product requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, willingness, and readiness to work in a team.
- Experience writing functional and technical documentation in English, such as specifications for necessary changes, user manuals, and test scenarios/cases.
Nice-to-haves:- In-depth knowledge (as a user or customiser)ofmid-market ERP systems: Acumatica, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Experience in thefinancial reporting industry, knowledge of accounting.
- A past deeply technical background (e.g., engineering, architecture, or QA) would greatly help you in this role.
Terms:- 100% remote environment with flexible working hours. Your schedule should still be reasonably predictable, and responsiveness incommunication is a must. You should be able to provide at least 3 hours of overlap with the EST (Montreal) time zone.
- At least 35 hours/week availability, preferably full-time.
- A stable internet connection and videoconferencing capability are required, with the camera turned on.
