Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Business Tech Analyst to translate business requirements into detailed system specifications and to lead requirements gathering, UAT, and deployment activities across ERP and data integration domains. The role involves collaborating with business partners, developers, and project managers to ensure requirements are fully understood and delivered.

The analyst will work on SAP S/4HANA configurations, data mapping, and interface requirements while supporting change

Qualifications

• Meet with business stakeholders to understand requirements and create functional requirements documentation.
• Communicate requirements to technical teams ensuring understanding and alignment.
• Participate in vendor selection, solution design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, training and project close-out.
• Develop and maintain data mappings and data transformation rules.
• Support SAP S/4HANA configuration and understand S4HANA SCM modules.
• Assist with change management and user adoption activities for Supply stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supports change management, training, communication, and user adoption activities for Supply business stakeholders.

Job Description

The Business Tech Analyst translates business requirements into detailed system requirements within their defined technical domain. This role performs requirements gathering sessions with business partners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to develop functional requirements documentation, and develops test scripts aligned to business requirements used to validate products during the Functional Testing, Support Integration Testing, System testing, Defect Triage and lead business UAT phases of a project. The Business Tech Analyst analyzes the systems and processes within their scope to design functional specifications for enhancements, process modeling and interacts frequently with internal customers, developers, and project managers to ensure business requirements are fully understood and delivered.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation:

• Meet with business stakeholders and sponsors to understand business requirements, then create functional requirements documentation.20%

Technical Communication & Stakeholder Alignment:

• Meet with technical and development teams to communicate business requirements documentation, and ensure all technical teams fully understand business requirements.20%

Project & Technical Delivery Support:

• Regular participation in all technical activities related to projects, including vendor selection, solution design, application development, Functional, Support Integration, system Testing, Defect Triage, Business Validation, lead business UAT, deployment, training, and project close-out.40%

ERP, Data & Integration Analysis:

• Develop and maintain business data mappings, source-to-target mappings, interface requirements, and data transformation rules.
• Support functional configuration design and validation activities in SAP S/4HANA and able to understand S4HANA Supply Chain management modules and capabilities to support Boost project.10%

Change Management:

• Supports change management, training, communication, and user adoption activities for Supply business stakeholders10%

Skills and Requirements

• Business analysis experience, including functional application management.
• Experience with system design, including specification creation, user stories, and application/solution design standards.
• Data modeling and data analysis skills to support business requirements.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based change management and incident management practices.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, including customization, configuration, validation, and testing.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Product Owner, or Product Management operating models.
• Scope management experience within IT project delivery.
• Strong knowledge and documentation management practices.
• Sub-domain functional or technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: SAP (FICO, S/4HANA) Supply Chain and Entegra systems; Facilities Management systems (Soft FM, Hard FM), Finance Systems including related business process analysis and systems integration (APIs, ETL, middleware) within the applicable domain.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to contribute independently.
• Sound decision-making, business insight, nimble learning, and persuasive communication skills, contributed at an independent or developing level.
