REQUIREMENTS

6+ years of technical business analyst experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field
Strong SQL skills for querying and data analysis
Understanding of core data warehouse concepts and logical data modeling- will not be building design or data pipelines but must understand how to talk about it
Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on data pipeline design
Familiarity with Azure services (ADF, Azure SQL, Databricks preferred but not required)
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
MUST have some financial experience- specifically with Real Estate or Mortgages, Lending, credit etc...

Technical Business Analyst

This role is the functional counterpart to the Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Gather and translate business requirements into clear specs for data engineers and reporting teams
Write and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis needs
Understand data modeling and how is relates to business. will not be building data pipelines but must have an understanding of how it works.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure pipeline and ETL designs meet functional needs
Analyze large datasets to identify trends and support decision-making
Contribute to Azure-based projects involving ADF, Azure SQL Server, and Databricks
Maintain documentation for requirements, workflows, and data models
Apply knowledge of financial data structures and reporting standards (if applicable)
