Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Technical Business Analyst in Charlotte, NC (hybrid) to join an IT agile delivery team. You will gather and refine requirements, translate them into actionable technology specifications, and support the full SDLC from user story ideation through deployment and production support.

The role requires strong communication, 5+ years of IT solution implementation experience, and SQL expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration with stakeholders to understand business processes and needs
• Document business and functional requirements for delivery of technology solutions
• Assist in testing deliverables and facilitate User Acceptance Testing
• Participate in daily standups, backlog grooming, user story mapping, and flow reviews
• Provide Level 2 support for IT solutions and perform root cause analysis in coordination with IT teams
• Analyze data sources and map data for ETL processes supporting BI reporting

Title: Technical Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid)

Duration: Initial 6 months contract with extensions

Compensation: $ 44.00-$49.00/hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or or Authorized to work in US

The IT Business Analyst III is a member of an IT agile, delivery team responsible for understanding business process objectives and helping their team translate needs into actionable technology requirements, and designs. Major activities include requirements gathering, refining of scope, analyzing data sources, assisting with user acceptance testing, and gathering user feedback on IT deliverables. The IT Business Analyst III will have a hands-on role in the full Agile, software development life cycle, from User Story ideation through development, deployment, and production support.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Leads the collaboration with key stakeholders by gathering information to better understand their business processes and needs, and through analyzing application data to increase efficiency and productivity of IT resources
• Gathers and documents business and functional requirements, and translates to the technical team for delivery of technology solutions
• Assists in testing deliverables and facilitates the User Acceptance Testing with business partners to ensure quality and functionality
• Participates in key agile routines such as Daily Standup, Backlog Replenishment, User Story Mapping, and Flow Review to increase efficiencies and processes
• Provides Level 2 support for all technology solutions in the assigned application portfolio by performing root cause analysis, collaborating with business partners and IT teammates to resolve the issues and or incidents
• Understands and analyzes data sources and provides data mappings for Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes that drive our business intelligence strategies through reporting

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Required 5 years' experience with IT solution implementations
• Builds positive, trusting relationships with business customers, and develops a deep understanding of their needs while fostering strong, collaborative relationships with IT team members
• Experience with functional designs, process flows, and designing solution options to solve business problems
• Manage and facilitate successful, effective meetings
• Self-directed, proactive, and able to prioritize/execute work independently
• Effective communicator, willing to constructively challenge and actively listen
• SQL experience required
