Job summary

RitterTech / RSA, an MCE Company, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer focused on automation and electronic controls. You will manage ~50–60 accounts, build OEM relationships, and drive product growth across Northern and Central Illinois and Indiana.

Strong technical depth and the ability to translate designs into product selections are essential. You will collaborate with the regional team, develop growth strategies, and provide technical sales support, including cost estimation and proposal

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on technical background in automation and electronic controls.
• Ability to understand customer applications and specify products into equipment designs.
• Experience with automation product breadth and network protocols (PLCs, motion controllers, VFDs, servo motors).
• 1–3 years in technical sales or customer-facing technical roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own growth and performance of automation products in assigned territory.
• Build OEM relationships and specify products into machine designs.
• Collaborate with local sales team to drive growth in IL/IN region.
• Develop and execute growth plans with Regional Sales Manager.
• Provide technical support during sales calls and proposals.
