Job summary

RitterTech / RSA, an MCE Company, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to grow automation product lines and support customer machine designs in the Illinois/Indiana region.

You will manage 50–60 accounts, develop OEM relationships, and deliver technical and application support while collaborating with inside and outside sales teams. A strong controls background and practical engineering knowledge are required for success.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on automation/electronic controls background.
• Ability to specify products into equipment or machine designs.
• Expertise in PLCs, motion controllers, VFDs, servos.
• 1–3 years technical sales or customer-facing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• ERP/CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Controls Eng or related.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation product growth across assigned territory.
• Build OEM relationships to specify products into designs.
• Develop growth plan with Regional Sales Manager.
• Participate in sales calls with technical support.
• Deliver technical and application support to customers.
• Manage accounts and CRM/ERP activity daily.
• Educate customers on automation trends and product capabilities.
