Job summary

HII Mission Technologies seeks a Technical Assurance Manager to support DoD RD-TSX assessments at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will lead risk analysis, control framework development, and standardized reviews across multiple projects, ensuring first‑time quality and compliance with RMF, ICDs and NIST guidelines.

Candidates should have senior-level DoD test and evaluation experience, strong leadership, and proven ability to mentor engineers, with active secret clearance and excellent

Qualifications

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD or JD; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• DoD frameworks and regulations (RMF, ICDs, NIST) knowledge and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with schedule changes and short suspense tasks.

Responsibilities

• Subject Matter Expert providing critical advice to test engineers and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement a robust control framework for technology.
• Standardized review processes to ensure consistent reporting across assessments.
• Perform risk analysis using internal and external data sources.
• Engage stakeholders across the technical branch and assessment group.
• Lead and mentor test engineers, writers, and reviewers; provide training as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field

Master's degree in related field

PhD/Juris Doctorate in related field
