Job summary

HII Mission Technologies seeks a Technical Assurance Manager to support DoD technology assessments at Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM. Lead SME guidance, risk mitigation, and framework development for multiple projects in a fast-paced defense environment.

Responsibilities include developing review processes, coordinating with test engineers and writers, and ensuring quality while aligning with DoD regulations and security controls. Active Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years with Masters; 4 years with PhD; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Experience with DoD frameworks and regulations (RMF, ICDs, NIST).
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME, advising test engineers and stakeholders and mitigating risks.
• Develop and implement robust control framework for technology assessments.
• Create standardized review processes for consistent reporting.
• Evaluate systems and conduct risk analyses to support mitigation plans.
• Engage stakeholders across the technical and assessment groups to foster collaboration.
