The City of Lancaster (CA) seeks a Technical Assistant to support LPAC productions and events under supervision. This part-time role allows up to 940 hours annually, averaging about 20 hours per week, with duties across lighting, sound, video, scenery, and wardrobe in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Responsibilities include assisting with multiple production areas, loading gear, and working nights/weekends as needed.
The Technical Assistant operates under supervision of LPAC Supervisor and Senior Technical Assistants, to perform behind-the-scenes labor for performances and events.
Hours: Part Time up to 940 hours per fiscal year, 20 hours per week, not guaranteed.
Duties may include assisting with several, but not limited to, of the following production areas for both indoor and outdoor events, with little supervision from Senior Technical Assistants:
