Full-time job opportunity for an experiencedTechnicalAssembler to join a furniture manufacturer in theGrand Rapids area. This company is a leading manufacturer of Automation Components and Equipment and they are looking for a mechanical assembler to join their team

TechnicalAssembler Requirements:

• Efficiently bring materials to and from the workstations to keep production running
• Assembling using blueprints
• Ability to prioritize work
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Ability to measure correctly while using various saws, mills, and drill press machines
• Comfortable with hand and power tools
• Assisting in the fabrication process
• Willing to cross-train in all areas as needed

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Monday -Friday with overtimeas needed
• $20.00/HR

Technical Assembler Qualifications:

• Excellent attendance and be flexible with the work schedule to meet business needs
• 1-2 years ofassembly/fabrication/machine building experience
• Knowledge of usinga variety and hand and power tools
• Able to multitask
• Excellent attention to detail
• Lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Ability to occasionally walk, bend, crouch, kneel
• High school diploma or GED
