Qualifications

• Read blueprints, drawings, tape measures.
• Operate a variety of tools including power tools, clamps, battery-powered drills, impact wrenches, and drill presses.
• Able to do simple tooling setup.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination; able to work with fiberglass and lift up to 40 pounds.

Assembly Job Summary: A fast-paced manufacturing company is seeking an Assembly person on 2ndshift. This position will require assembling components for transportation seating. Candidates need to be very self-directed and have high attention to detail and quality.

Assembly Responsibilities:

• Assembly of seating to the customers requirements
• Working with hand tools, power tools, clamps, wrenches, drill press
• Read, comprehend and follow instructions and procedures
• Verify materials and equipment needed
• Taking measurements to ensure perfect fit
• Work with fabric and foam
• Work with glue
• Pneumatic staplers
• Align materials and put together parts to build more complex units
• Communicating product issues to the team lead or supervisor
• Promoting a safe and clean work environment
• Willing to assist with other tasks and duties as required

Schedule & Pay:

• 2ndshift 3:20pm-11:40pm but as late as 3:40am and requires training on 1stshift
• $23.63/HR

Assembly Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, tape measures
• Ability to work with variety of tools including power tools, clamps, battery powered drills, impact wrenches, drill press, etc.
• Able to do simple tooling set up
• Excellent hand-eye coordination
• Able to work with fiberglass
• Able to twist, bend, stop as needed, and stand for the entire shift
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• High school diploma or GED
