Job summary

Anaplan is seeking an experienced Manager, Revenue Accounting in San Francisco to act as the ASC 606 subject matter expert. You will manage the subscription revenue process, review complex customer contracts, and support the monthly close with rigorous governance and accurate revenue recognition.

You will partner with Deal Desk, Sales Operations and Legal on non-standard deals, author technical memos, perform SSP analyses, and oversee revenue schedules, contract assets and deferred revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in ASC 606 for SaaS or enterprise tech.
• Experience with Workday, Salesforce CPQ, and financial modeling in Excel; Anaplan familiarity a plus.
• Big 4 or national public accounting experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ASC 606 subject matter expert for revenue recognition and policy.
• Review complex customer contracts and advise on accounting impact.
• Author audit-ready memos and SSP allocation analyses.
• Oversee month-end close, revenue schedules, and related subledger reviews.
• Collaborate with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, and Legal on non-standard terms, SLAs, and terminations.
