Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Technical Revenue Accounting Manager to optimize the revenue infrastructure for complex software platform deals.

You will partner across Sales, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Product to ensure compliant revenue recognition and scalable processes. You will own ASC 606 policies, prepare technical memos, review orders in Salesforce and NetSuite, support monthly close, forecasting, and public company reporting readiness, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related roles, with a focus on software businesses.
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 and experience with complex, multi-year software platform contracts and revenue recognition.
• Demonstrated experience preparing technical accounting memos for revenue recognition and other complex transactions.
• Experience building and scaling processes in a high-growth environment.
• Experience leading or working closely with a deal desk, including deal review, approval workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
• Excellent analytical, process improvement, and project management skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling financial data

Responsibilities

• Review, structure, and approve complex bundled deals with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical accounting memos for ASC 606 and complex revenue transactions.
• Own revenue recognition policies and update guidance for compliance.
• Process and review customer orders in Salesforce and NetSuite; ensure data accuracy.
• Establish processes for determining SSP for existing and new products.
• Support monthly close, revenue forecasting, and audit readiness activities.
• Prepare revenue disclosures for financial statements.
• Assist with SOX controls, process documentation, and public company reporting readiness.
• Collaborate across departments to address gaps and improve revenue predictability.
