Technical Architect

Description

The Technical Architect designs, develops, and implements application infrastructure to provide highly complex, reliable, and scalable applications and systems to meet organizational objectives. Responsibilities include supporting solution development, selecting appropriate technologies and architecture, and specifying physical components, hardware, and software.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Guide teams through hands-on technical activities such as coding, integrations, and data conversions during each sprint (e.g., .NET, C#, JavaScript).
2. Perform peer reviews of development work by staff or contractors.
3. Update work items, identify blockers, and collaborate with scrum masters and contractors.
4. Participate actively in Agile processes and ceremonies.
5. Create detailed technical features and user stories (enablers) for the technical roadmap.
6. Prioritize the ecosystem feature and user story backlog.
7. Ensure compliance with digital accessibility regulations by designing and developing accessible digital products, managing accessibility as a compliance concern, and supporting accessibility features in development resources.
8. Work with scrum masters to meet sprint goals and continuously improve team processes.
