Job summary
Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an Assistant Technical Applications Manager to join our team in the United States. This hands-on leadership role focuses on industrial gas detection, atmospheric monitoring, automation, and control systems.
You will design, test, and support solutions in collaboration with customers and engineering teams. You will lead projects from concept to commissioning, mentor engineers, and help drive product improvements, with substantial field presence across
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years in applications engineering, controls, automation, or field engineering.
- Hands-on experience with startup, commissioning, and customer-site support.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs/HMIs (Allen-Bradley/IDEC).
- Strong knowledge of Modbus and industrial signals (4–20mA, 0–10V).
- Willingness to travel for commissioning and field service.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior technical resource for gas detection, automation, and control systems.
- Lead system design: control architecture, automation strategies, communications.
- Configure, program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, and networks.
- Manage projects from design through commissioning and support.
- Provide on-site commissioning, startup assistance, and customer training.
- Develop technical proposals, system documentation, and manuals.
- Drive continuous improvement and field issue resolution.
