Orchestrade seeks a Technical Analyst - Release Management to support the design, development, and delivery of product control and financial systems solutions. You will translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure scalable enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, specs, and tickets to understand architecture, data flows, APIs, integrations, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing for financial applications and workflows.
• Test Product Control and financial systems, validating processing, life cycles, calculations, and interfaces.
• Investigate defects using logs, queries, APIs, and code analysis to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects, validate fixes, and assess regression impact.
• Use SQL and database analysis to verify data integrity and trace data across stages.
• Validate APIs, interfaces, and system integrations, including error handling and data mapping.
• Support UAT with technical test scenarios, data setup, and defect resolution.
• Perform release validation, environment checks, smoke testing, and post-release verification.
• Work with PMs, BAs, developers, QA teams, and users to identify risks and ensure production-ready delivery.
• Maintain high-quality test cases, evidence, and release documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation, and tooling.
• Develop understanding of codebase and workflows to support complex changes.

We are seeking a technically focused Technical Analyst - Release Management to support the design, development, and delivery of product control and financial systems solutions. This role will work at the intersection of business and technology, translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications, and supporting the implementation of scalable system enhancements. The successful candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications and test scenarios, identify and resolve defects, and support the implementation of new features and system enhancements. Strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in financial systems and technology are essential for success in this role.

Job Summary

The Technical Analyst will support the growth of our company through research, development validation and direct interaction with clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and development tickets to understand application architecture, business logic, data flows, APIs, system integrations, dependencies, and technical acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute comprehensive functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing across complex financial applications and distributed workflows.
• Test Product Control and financial systems, validating transaction processing, trade lifecycle workflows, calculations, database updates, system interfaces, and downstream processing outcomes.
• Perform technical investigation and troubleshooting of defects and unexpected system behavior using application logs, database queries, API responses, code analysis, and debugging techniques to identify root causes.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce defects, isolate technical issues, validate code fixes, and assess potential regression impact across related components and workflows.
• Use SQL and database analysis to validate data integrity, investigate processing issues, reconcile expected versus actual results, and trace data across applications and processing stages.
• Validate APIs, interfaces, and system integrations, including request/response behavior, data mapping, error handling, and downstream processing.
• Support User Acceptance Testing through technical test scenario preparation, test data setup, environment configuration, execution support, result analysis, and defect resolution.
• Perform release and deployment validation, including environment readiness checks, deployment verification, smoke testing, targeted regression testing, configuration validation, and post-release verification.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, QA/Automation teams, and business users to identify technical and functional risks, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure production-ready delivery.
• Maintain high-quality test cases, test evidence, technical investigation notes, defect analysis, and release validation documentation to ensure reproducibility, traceability, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation, debugging processes, technical tooling, and overall software quality practices.
• Develop a strong understanding of the underlying codebase, application components, financial workflows, and system architecture to independently investigate issues and support increasingly complex technical changes.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of professional experience in the financial industry.
• Experience in Object-Oriented Programming. C#/C/C++ is preferred, but knowledge of other languages will also be advantageous.
• Knowledge of application functionality and data management concepts.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral (English).
• Strong Technical Analysis skills are required – including data extraction, analysis and logical problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and can work collaboratively within a team.
• Should be eager to explore new concepts and willing to learn.
