Job description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support Digital Platforms Workplace Investing Technology initiatives. This role will work closely within an Agile Scrum team to analyze, design, test, and deliver digital platform solutions and enhancements. The Systems Analyst will collaborate with Squad Leads, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA teams, Architects, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure scalable, maintainable, and high-quality technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, experience with web-based applications, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced Agile environment. This position also provides opportunities to mentor junior analysts and contribute to process and best practice improvements across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile Scrum teams to support the delivery of digital platform solutions
• Analyze business and system requirements to support application development and enhancements
• Participate in solution design, testing, implementation, and ongoing support activities
• Troubleshoot system issues and triage defects across multiple environments
• Create and maintain supporting documentation including:
• Product guides
• Business process diagrams
• Work closely with Developers, QA teams, Architects, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
• Identify and analyze complex technical and functional requirements
• Ask exploratory questions to uncover hidden requirements and use cases
• Support scalable and maintainable solution design through long‑term strategic thinking
• Provide mentoring and guidance to junior Systems Analysts
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate technical concepts and system capabilities effectively to technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of Systems Analysis experience
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving system defects
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast‑paced environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to quality and responsiveness
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
• Experience creating technical and business documentation
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies
• Experience with database query tools and strong SQL skills
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Working understanding of QA automation processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
• Experience with financial services applications preferred
