28Stone, a full-service custom solutions firm, seeks a Technical Business Analyst/Project Manager for its post-trade processing environment supporting Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives. The role emphasizes identifying gaps, documenting requirements, and delivering scalable processes in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in IT consulting, data and messaging systems, and a strong ability to liaise with vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in STEM fields, MBA, or related discipline(s)
• 10-15 years' work experience with IT, process re-engineering, or IT consulting background
• Programming, business analysis, project/program management background
• Liaison with vendors, service providers, technical and functional teams, users, and management
• Hands-on performing gap analysis, managing data, and guiding other resources
• Process mapping/ process improvement experience. Quick learner of new technologies, tools, platforms, and flows
• Familiarity with data warehousing, data loads and processing, and messaging
• SQL query knowledge and programming background
• Experience working with financial services firms, market participants, or equivalent
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, self-directed individuals with the ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
• Effective presentation skills, combined with attention to detail
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
• Collaborative team player and relationship builder
• Work in a hybrid environment from Iselin, NJ location

Your Impact Zone

• Operations IT is seeking a Technical Business Analyst and project manager to support the firm’s post- trade processing environment for Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives platforms
• Has In depth understanding of Post trade processing flows. Familiarity with DTC/CNS intraday and overnight processing and corresponding interfaces. Familiarity with SWIFT messaging
• Successful candidates must be experienced in identifying and analyzing technology and process problems, developing business requirements and solutions for tactical and/or strategic projects, in collaboration with Business and Technology stakeholders across the organization
• The candidate must be technically proficient, able to multi-task well, explain solutions clearly, is well organized, and can work independently with minimal oversight

Benefits Employment Details

• This is a contractor position only (C2C)
• Looking for individuals with 10+ years of experience
• Compensation ranges from $110.000 - $150.000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
• Candidates should be local to the NYC Area and can work in a hybrid model (5 days in the office over 10 consecutive business days, split into 2 and 3 days per week at the client office in Iselin, New York.)
