Job summary

CEC Entertainment, LLC seeks a skilled Electronics/Bench Technician to support field services and operations. You will perform repairs, assemble components, and manage manuals and CAD files for field use, with strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and teamwork.

The role requires hands-on electronics repair experience, CAD creation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. Competitive benefits and a stable schedule are provided.

Qualifications

• Verbal communication skills required and ability to type and enter data accurately.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; ability to document repairs and inventories.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving and manual dexterity.
• Written communication and customer relations skills needed for field support.
• 1 year experience as a qualified bench technician; CAD/3D file creation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in support of field services and operations.
• Support corporate objectives and guest-focused service standards.
• Assist customer operations and field technical managers.
• Conduct quality repairs on electronics items per inventory list.
• Provide technical phone support for the field from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. Central Time.
• Assemble sound and kit components to support field needs.
• Maintain and update technical manuals, schematics, and text fixtures.
• Support the Tech Support website and future upgrades for the field.
• Process shipping and receiving of exchange parts.
• Lend assistance to coworkers as directed by management.
• Maintain tech support inventory with cycle counts and bin locations.
• Assist with CAD file creation for 3D print projects.

Commission Detail

Exempt : Commission potential from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).

Non-Exempt : Commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).

Job Description

Essential Functions

• Performs all duties and responsibilities in support of field services and operations.
• Supports the Corporate Objectives, including: "If you are not serving the Guest, serve someone who is."
• Support our customer (Operations and Field Technical Managers).
• Conduct Quality Repairs on items in the Electronics Repairs inventory list.
• Provide Technical phone support for the field from 7 A.M. to 5 P.M. Central Time
• Assemble various sound and other kit assemblies to support the field.
• Maintain, create and update Tech manuals, schematics and text fixtures needed for repairs.
• Assist in maintaining the Technical Support Web Site and implement future upgrades to support the field.
• Process shipping and receiving of all exchange parts.
• Performs other duties and lends assistance to co-workers as directed by the immediate supervisor or other members of our Corporate Management Team.
• Assist in maintaining Tech Support Inventory (Cycle Counts and Bin Location Updates)
• Assist with CAD File creation for 3D Print Projects.

Physical Demands

To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 - 50 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work a 10-hour shift.
