Ideal candidates have Big 4/public-company experience, deep ASC exposure (606, 842, 718, 805), CPA, and a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on ASC exposure (606, 842, 718, 805).
• CPA certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic scenarios from your work — technical accounting memos, schedules, SEC filings (10-K/10-Q), footnotes & disclosures, and applying ASC standards to transactions.
• Review and compare AI-generated technical outputs for standards-accurate conclusions and defensible support.
• Provide clear written feedback that improves how AI reasons about technical accounting.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team.

Focus Areas

Technical accounting & external / SEC reporting — with deep, hands-on exposure to the standards (ASC 606 revenue, 842 leases, 718 stock comp, 805 business combinations).

Key Responsibilities

• Design realistic scenarios from your work — technical accounting memos, technical accounting schedules, SEC filings (10-K / 10-Q), footnotes & disclosures, and applying new/complex ASC standards to transactions
• Review and compare AI-generated technical outputs for standards-accurate conclusions and defensible support
• Provide clear written feedback that improves how AI reasons about technical accounting
• Collaborate asynchronously with the research team
