Job summary

Versant Media, LLC seeks a Manager, Technical Accounting & Policy to lead the development and application of accounting policies, ensuring GAAP and SOX compliance. You will partner with Controllership, FP&A, Legal, and External Reporting to implement new standards and support audit readiness.

The role reports to the VP, Technical Accounting & Policy and requires strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills across the organization. Hybrid work from Englewood Cliffs, NJ is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex accounting analyses for transactions including business combinations, divestitures, leases, impairments, and restructurings.
• Prepare technical accounting memos in partnership with external auditors.
• Provide guidance to Controllership, FP&A, and business units on accounting issues.
• Act as SME for revenue recognition, leases, equity, and long-lived assets.
