Job summary

Versant Media, LLC is seeking a Senior Analyst for Corporate Accounting to support monthly and quarterly closes, prepare and review complex journal entries and accruals, and perform reconciliations and variance analyses in alignment with U.S. GAAP and SOX controls.

The role partners with Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Payroll, and FP&A, driving process improvements, ERP initiatives, automation, and control enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting experience.
• Experience in a publicly traded company or multinational or Big 4 environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Hybrid role requiring three days per week in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Lead journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and balance sheet/P&L analysis.
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes and audit requests.
• Coordinate with offshore team for journal entries and reconciliation quality.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Payroll, and other stakeholders.
