Incendia Partners seeks a Technical Accounting Managing Director to join its leadership team, guiding clients through complex accounting and financial reporting challenges. You will lead high-impact engagements, mentor professionals, and shape firm strategy in a growing advisory practice.

You'll serve CFOs, Controllers, Audit Committees, and executives, driving technical accounting excellence, SEC reporting readiness, and SOX 404 compliance while expanding client relationships and expanding

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, advisory, or consulting.
• Experience with a nationally recognized public accounting firm.
• Deep expertise in technical accounting, U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX 404.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex U.S. GAAP accounting and reporting matters.
• Lead technical accounting analyses for transactions and prepare position papers.
• Guide clients through financial statement preparation and external reporting.
• Serve as trusted advisor to executives, boards, and finance leaders.
• Lead multiple engagements and ensure exceptional service and delivery.
• Develop client relationships and expand engagements.
